Banh Mi at N. Lee | 220 Smith St, Collingwood
Just around the corner from Collarts, you'll find the most delicious banh mi. Blending Southeast Asian and French flavours, the crunchy baguette sandwiches can be slathered with your choice of freshly chopped vegetables, meat and a special hoisin sauce. At N. Lee you can customise your rolls to your liking, with vego and vegan opitions also available in the form of customisation and/or rice paper rolls.
Burgers at Huxtaburger | 106 Smith St, Collingwood
If you're craving a tasty burger and fries combo, chances are you've already had Huxtaburger land on your radar, a joint well-known for its fresh toppings and salty sides. With a few burger options under $15 and vegan choices to boot, it makes for a perfect pre-class meeting point that won't break the bank.

Serving tasty Japanese food of all varieties, Peko Peko is a little bit further out but worth the walk. Not even a five minutes walk from Collarts Wellington St campus, the café has a handful of freshly baked treats and is well-loved for their hearty meals and ethically-sourced coffee options. If you're looking for the perfect eggs on toast, your cravings will also be satisfied here, with a variety of more spenno side choices if you're wanting to treat yo' self.
Dumplings at Dumpling Dumpling | 254 Smith St, Collingwood
Serving a variety of wok-tossed dishes and saucy stir-fries, Dumpling Dumpling are well-loved for their quick and reliable dumplings. With meat and vego options, most of their combos come with a complimentary soft drink can and their fast service means you can eat before class.
Pizza at Lazerpig | 9-11 Peel St, Collingwood
A few blocks down from Wellington St, Lazerpig makes for an excellent share plate experience. With deep fried arancini balls, buffalo mozzarella and a variety of pizza options, you can also take advantage of their $15 lunch special that'll get you a pizza or burger and drink of your choice.

Just down the road on Smith St, Hinoki Japanese Pantry is filled to the brim with important Japanese treats. From well-loved sweets to a variety of loose teas and seasoning, this storefront also boasts an in-house sushi team that prepare your order fresh to go. With premium ingredients right at your fingertips, there are vego and vegan options too.
Fresh Falafel at Falafel Place | 264 Smith St, Collingwood
Falafel can be hit or miss depending on where you go, and Falafel Place is definitely a hit. Watch as they make your falafel fresh from the mix, whether you buy it in a delicious wrap or one of their $13 lunch specials that gets you a bunch of tasty Middle-Eastern salads on the side. Best of all, everything is vegetarian.
Cheap Bibimbaps at Goon BBQ | 270 Smith St, Collingwood
You might miss this hole-in-the-wall as you rush down Smith St, but don't underestimate it. Goon BBQ isn't a hipster take on Korean food; it's authentic. From the hanok-inspired interior to the diverse menu, the hero is definitely their lunch "cup rice" special, a simpler version of bibimbap that ranges from $9.50 to $10.50 before 3PM. What a deal!
