There's nothing we love more than connecting our students to Australia's creative industries and the communities that build them. That's why when Groovin' The Moo (GTM) fell on our radar, we didn't play it cool and asked instantly, "Hey, do you wanna be mates?"
It wasn't that long ago, actually, that GTM was an idea between mates. It was 2003, and two friendly Newcastle neighbours (a high school teacher and a statistician) came up with an idea over a drink. It was a music event, but made to be different: it was an event made for everyone. With a community focus, GTM put first affordability and fun, and the idea just grew from there.
Thinking to the future, Collarts is proud to announce that we will be the Exclusive Education Partner of Groovin' the Moo: Bendigo in 2019. This partnership translates into exciting student-only opportunities, with our students being able to learn hands-on in an All Ages music festival environment with industry leaders, local and international artists, and the community spirit of the Victorian music scene right at their fingertips.
