Collarts Presents 'Through The Looking Glass' As Part Of Melbourne Fashion Week

Jul 16, 2018

We are delighted to share that Collarts students from Fashion Marketing and Content Creation will be working on Through The Looking Glass as part of Melbourne Fashion Week (MFW) 2018!

This project, presented in the Collarts City Campus, will reflect how our fashion choices, our living environments and our digital personas come together to express our ideas of style and identity in the 21st Century. The project draws together creative skills of Fashion Marketing, Interior Design (from Mercer School of Interior Design) and Content Creation students to produce unique fashionable figures that inhabit stylish settings.

This collaboration aims to create an open and inclusive dialogue around contemporary fashion, observing and incorporating multiple viewpoints on what inspires our style statements today—from fashion or furnishing, on screen or at home. This exploration of personal style becomes part of Melbourne’s city-scape through projections after dark, where the projects are best viewed in Swanston Street corner of Flinders Lane (St Paul’s Cathedral side).

For more information on the event, click here or head to MFW's website for the full program.
