Collarts Students Fly To London For The Nando's Music Exchange

Sep 06, 2019

There's nothing we love more than connecting our students to the industry. For Music Performance students Oliver Northam, Hannah Wilson and Nicolas Duquemin, their once in a lifetime opportunity will see them heading to London for The Nando's Music Exchange (MX).

In an all-expenses paid trip, the handpicked trio—along with three other recipients who were scouted across Australia—will gain access to global talent and work with fellow artists from South Africa, UK and Australia in the iconic music venue, London Roundhouse.

While on exchange, the students will be involved in a collaborative multi-day workshop, where they work with and learn from musicians making waves in their respective music scenes. "I can't believe we have this opportunity," shares Nicolas, "we are just so excited."

Networking and collaborating with established creatives, The Nandos MX will support them as the next wave of budding artists by assisting in the development of their craft and industry know-how.
