Collarts Takes Initiative With Digital & Social Media Degree

Jan 15, 2020

At Collarts, we love to embrace industry change and so in 2020, we've made an informed decision to rename our Content Creation degree to Digital & Social Media in order to meet the growing demand in the job market.

What this means, is that the Bachelor of Arts (Content Creation) and Diploma will be renamed the Bachelor of Arts (Digital & Social Media) and Diploma of Arts (Digital & Social Media), with no changes to the course structure or subjects.

All current students will have the ability to choose which degree title they graduate with. They will be provided with more information during Week 1 and O-Week, and will be able to speak with Head of the Program, Rikki Bunder if they have any questions.

This change will positively affect students' career prospects because digital and social media are much more widely understood and used terms in the industry, academia, and by the general public.
