We love backing the work of our sessional staff, especially when they're kicking goals. You may recall back in March when music industry legend Dallas Frasca announced a first-of-its-kind music festival, lovingly called A Hitch To The Sticks.
Covering over 700km in three days, A Hitch To The Sticks will kick-off again on October 12-14, celebrating Victorian music from the source. Joining Dallas Frasca and The Northern Folk on the bill includes the likes of Killing Heidi, Tim Rogers, Jebediah, Kate Ceberano, William Crighton, This Way North, The Quick & The Dead, Petty Crimes DJ and much more.
The festival-on-tour will see 50 adventurers board and embark on a journey from Melbourne to Regional Victoria, partying in towns like Seymour, Moorngag, Lima East, Winton, Glenrowan, Wangaratta, North Wang and Moyhu along the way.
As part of A Hitch To The Sticks, our Content Creation and Entertainment Management students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world-first festival; grabbing content, interviewing artists and liaising on-site. You can watch the Highlight Reel from March above, created by Content Creation Students.
