Collarts has outperformed its competitors in the music and entertainment industry, ranking highest in student satisfaction, teaching quality, student engagement, student support, and skills development in the arts sector.
In results from the national QILT (Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching) survey released yesterday, 87.3 per cent of Collarts students who responded rated their overall educational experience positively, well above the national average of 79.3 per cent.
Collarts was also ranked highly for teaching quality, with 90.5 per cent of students sharing positive opinions about their teachers, alongside experiences with learning materials and skills development.
As Dean of Collarts Ben O’Hara has noted, the QILT survey provides a significant indication of the sector because it was based on student and recent graduate experience; highlighting how Collarts’ focus on creating real career pathways has translated into both our community and education led by industry experts.
“We pride ourselves on creating a comfortable environment and thriving community for all students. At Collarts, students have access to a range of support services to help them succeed and are nurtured by both experts and real industry experiences unlike anywhere else,” Ben O’Hara said.
While it’s no news to us that Collarts is a supportive community, we’re incredibly proud that our students and graduates feel the same way.
